The Challenger 13 updates the 12 & creates the stability you need when you’ve covering the baseline, so you can keep your mind focused on controlling the point. The shoe includes a supportive upper that keeps your feet locked in on the shoe’s platform. It creates a reinforced feel during volleys or when you’re dropping back to track down deep lob shots. Asics includes WINGWALL technology which is placed in the sidewall to improve stability during side-to-side movements. The Challenger 13 offers good support, so you can step into your shot and stroke the ball with more pace.

• Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems-Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.
• P.H.F. (Personal Heel Fit)-2 layers of memory foam line the collar and mold to the athletes heel, creating a personalized fit.

Midsole:

• Solyte Midsole Material-A lighter weight midsole compound than ASICS standard EVA and SpEVA. Also features enhanced cushioning and durability.

Outsole:

• AHAR rubber outsole with PGuard Toe Protector for enhanced toe durability.
• Trusstic System-Reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.
• AHAR-ASICS High Abrasion Rubber. Placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability.
